Andrea Oliveira Langevin is from Vitoria, Espirito Santo, Brazil and currently resides in the Washington, D.C. - USA area. Andrea teaches piano in both English and Portuguese; in her studio and through Zoom.
Andrea studied piano and music theory at the Faculdade de Musica de Espirito Santo (FAMES) in Vitoria, ES. For several years, Andrea played piano and keyboards for Flor de Liz, an all women band, playing Musica Popular Brasileira (MPB) and Bossa Nova.
She has taught all musical styles since coming to the United States in 2005. In 2007, she began teaching through Fun Piano Lessons. Over the years, Andrea has taught hundreds of children and adults to play piano and appreciate music. For Andrea, “piano playing should be fun, regardless of the level or style.”
